(Sorry, I wasn't sure where to put this, I was thinking Softpad, but this is more of a controller question).
I have two controllers, one that hooks up to a ps2, and one that hooks up to a computer. The problem is, one is a mat (ps2) and the other is an actual CONTROLLER. is there any way I could cut the wires, connect em together, and get them to work? I don't want to try this if it doesn't seem feasible... |

They have PS2 to PC converters. So if you have a softpad that hooks up to your PS2, the converter will allow you to use it on your PC. Check stepmania.com for a list of good ones. _________________

I'd do that, but my parents aren't really into computers and are a little paranoid... and nowhere around here can I find one. |

Try looking in the Homepad Sticky. Since people are building their own pads, they have to install controller circuitry and basically rewire an existing controller, much like what you're doing. _________________
