The ones that would be tens, leave as tens, but tell me what you think is harder and worth an 11, 12 or even 13 on the ITG scale.

Sakura. End of thread.

Nah, just kidding. I'd have to say perhaps Fascination -Eternal Love Mix- Challenge. If I can't do a 10 on controller, then it's HARD.

I had a discussion about this not too long ago:

Arrabiatta: 10 (Its harder than some ITG 10s as is)
Max 300: 10
Paranoia Survivor: 10

boring boring boring

Paranoia Hades (Oni): 12
Hades Oni Double: 13
Pluto The First: 13
Pluto Relinquish Oni: 12

it goes on... basically, all the new 10s (and some 9s) qualify to be in those numbers.

What other songs could be considered 12s or 13s?

If you ask me, Pluto and Pluto Relinquish are not as bad as Paranoia Hades and Fascination Maxx -- at least, not on the hand controller. So, I was wondering whether we should include X songs now, like Horatio on challenge ought to be 11 or 12, maybe even moreO_o on the In The Groove scale. I apologize if there is already a thread for this, but it would be interesting to compare the three (or perhaps four or more) scales -- classic Dance Dance Revolution (after implementing the "10-footer", but the older one would also be interesting), In The Groove, new Dance Dance Revolution (starting with X, I believe). I like the new scale X introduced because it allows correction of nonsense such as rating Healing-D-Vision a 10-footer, but declaring Trip Machine Phoenix and Paranoia Hades nine-footers (heck, Ngo and Unreal are tougher than Healing-D-Vision if you ask me although this is from a hand controller perspective). Also, I have been looking for a thread about the toughest songs in Dance Dance Revolution, hoping for a list that might include the songs mentioned in this thread, so I was wondering what are the toughest songs in Dance Dance Revolution history? To answer the question in the last post, I wonder whether songs such as Horatio challenge, Fascination Maxx, and Paranoia Hades rival Pandemonium in difficulty. If so, they ought to be at least 12's. I am not sure if Trip Machine Phoenix would qualify as a 12 -- I can pass it on the hand controller with a speed modifier. It is probably more of a 10 or 11. Fascination -Eternal Love Mix- might qualify as an 11 on expert. Yes, I am afraid I have been mentioning songs based on their heavy/expert difficulty rating except for Pandemonium and Horatio.

Congrats on the bump...this topic is now obsolete thanks to the new 20 foot DDR rating system.

I am really sorry, I did not mean to cause trouble or anything! I was just looking for a topic about the toughest songs in the history of the game. Please do not get me in trouble (my goal was not to receive any warning points)! I just thought I would discuss that here instead of wasting bandwidth on a new topic or whatever E2.gif

lol, relax you'll be fine. The mods aren't big meanies or anything.

That username really suits you. laugh.gif

Horatio would be an 11. HDVO should be a 13. PSMO is an 11. FaxxO is high-tier 11 or maybe low end 12. I kind of forgot the entire chart, but it wasn't TERRIBLY hard from what I remember.

excellent topic idea.

Faxx expert is probably an 11, on oni it's a 12...

HDVO should be a 12

PSMO should be a 12

FELM expert should be an 11 (not familiar with the oni chart)

it's hard to say for tlom and paranoia survivor, because they really seem like 10.5's to me, that is, slightly harder than an itg 10 but not as long and stamina draining as an 11.

If you ask me, The Legend of Max is much more difficult than Paranoia Survivor (hand controller perspective) -- I would have considered it an 11, but then again, I cannot pass 11's even on the hand controller and I have made an A on The Legend of Max a few times in the past (why can't I now? E2.gif ). I appreciate your reassurance, shurf. My username is actually based on that fear -- check the topic about how members invented/concocted their respective usernames for more details. Is Pandemonium expert the toughest song in the history of Dance Dance Revolution and In The Groove? Actually, I do not believe I have ever seen Summer or VerTex^2 in action -- I have played In The Groove 2 only once and that was about 129 days ago when I could not pass hard (red block) songs (it also happened to be my second dancing simulation arcade machine I ever tried). Hm, had it continued, what were the chances In The Groove would have updated its difficulty scale like Dance Dance Revolution X did?
