In his free time, J Dogg has been working on building a new and improved stepchart generator from scratch. Last I heard, it was still being worked on.

I was just wondering why a deadline was set for march 25, and here we are august, with no new news. I dont want to be rude, and apologize if I come off that way, but I would think that a deadline set that early would be easily made up for by now. But thats just me. And there are probably circumstances that I have no idea about regarding the new step engine that are holding it up.

Yeah... okay. So, I moved and I have no internet access at home. At work, the schedule is very tight and I've been working long hours and weekends at times. Once I get my internet setup again, I intend to resume work on the step charts.

I guess the step charts will take a while to get up and running, but, when it is running, will it have the NEW DDRMAX2 for Japan and the DDR for the computer and other up to date step charts?

Also, will there be a new feature that allows the user to add speed to songs (like bag) and apply all the different options that are avilable in the game?

And...are u guys gonna have ALL the songs on Extreme?

Hey I was also wondering if there could be a feature that users (like you and me) could UPLOAD their own steps to songs, kinda like a program that you download, make your own steps to a song, then upload the file for other people to download or view, upload the song, adn put it in their DDR game.

You could call it.....Step Maker...or something like it.

Here's a bit of an update on the stepchart situation.

We are in the process of getting them done. I will be double checking the charts with ones I have collected from the zyx site and other sources. No tentative date on when they will be completed. But don't worry we'll get them done.

(considering most of the rest of the work around here I can't do, now I have something to do)

I'm happy to announce that the great majority of the DWI files we need to get back in business are in. We have enlisted the help of sherl0k (creator of chartzar) to accomplish this, and we are well on our way. Thank you again for your continued patience. I hope to get this up and running soon.
