Not quite a DDR dream, but not long ago I dreamt I was playing PIU (Which I don't think I've ever even SEEN in person, let alone played), and the configuration of the arrows owned me hardcore...like I was attempting to play it like DDR and basically standing at a 45 degree angle to the screen.

I haven't had the Strip DDR dream lately (thankfully), but the other night I dreamt I was in this major tournament. I was winning round after round because I always picked bag on 1x flat and got lucky on the tiebreaking song. When I got to the semifinals, I woke up, so I'll never know what happened.

There was this one night where I had this dream I was playing DDR at the lunchroon in my high school (this dream occured way after I graduated high school). But the machine didnt have any DDR songs... just very wierd Japan tunes. And then the room tilted a little, and then I couldn't move my legs, like as if they were stuck to the floor like glue or puddy, meanwile the arrows coming up were like the stepchart to Euphoria Expert. and then I lost and then I get into a strange fistfight with some dude cause apparently I did do good and pass the song although it didnt feel like i did.

The moral of this story is... when you got the midnight munchies, dont Overdose on Chocolate, lol.

I used to constantly have dreams about finding dead machines in a landfills and such. A few times I have even had dreams that I had to AAA something or die. I made it through once and lived, I then got hit buy a bus. Most of the time though, I Perfect the song then get a great on the last note and the machine explodes....

I had one about ITG last night.

I walked all the way to State College (like a 45 minute drive from where I live) and there was a river separating me and my friends from the place where the ITG machine was. So I asked this guy to boat us across because I needed to play it urgently. He took us through another building until we finally got across after much trouble. I was so excited we ran in and me and my friend Eric got on the ITG pads and started playing. The song was like preselected or something because it played a slow version of Starmine (Pop'n Mixxx) from Pop'n Music. I was confused. It seemed that last time I went there I ripped the panels and decals off the machine because I found them in my pocket and the pad had some crappy plastic replacement on it. Then before we could choose another song, a map rose up from the dance pads and it was like "The battle of Gallipoli started in 1915 when..." I'm like "NOOOOO!!!!" then my Algebra II teacher came out of nowhere and she said "I learned a valuable lesson today and so did you." then I woke up. I never got to actually play In the Groove. I was pissed.

One time I had a dream where I was standing outside a huge stadium, and there was a big sign out front that said "DDRFreak Member's Convention". It was packed completely full!
Then the Swedes flew over and dropped a nuclear bomb on it and everyone died except for me.
So anyways it goes without saying I woke up with a surprise in my sheets (a sticky one (it was a wet dream (i am sexually aroused by the thought of everyone here dying in an enormous gout of fire and radiation)))

I so feel the same as the last poster.

I had a dream that i was walking to my house and the garage next to me got a DDR EX machine (so unusual because im from UK and what the hell kinda garage has ddr?)
So ayway i go up to it and after spending ages trying to figue out how to actually select a song i picked Max 300 but when i tried stepping my feel just wouldnt move off the pad it was so annoying.

omg..i swear to god i have ITG, DDR, or arrow-related dreams almost every night..i'm playing the game in most of them. i think it prolly has something to do with leaving ITG/DDR music on repeat all night every night. lol

DDR machines are taking over my mind...

Right, so a while, while back I dreamt I went to some arcade that was all reddish-like. I was all mad that there was no DDR machine, but eventally my sister and I found one that was squished behind some other machine no one cared about. Turns out it costed twelve tokens, and while I'm like "forget this," my sister, who hates spending money at arcades in real life, starts inserting her tokens...

Another time I had some relatively simple dream where I thought some arcade got rid of heir machine, but it wa just moved way in the back. There was more, but I forgot...

Then I had a dream someone told me about a new arcade with a DDR machine. It was really bright with a flood of windows and as if it didn't suck enough to me, turns out it was PIU. But... it was like... 3-freakin'-year-old size. Really tiny. For some reason I played it anyway...

Weirdest one yet... I went to what was supposed to be a specific arcade. My grandpa was there as I was buying some soda or something... when I bought the soda the person just left it there and walked away before I paid for it. I waited, and then my granpa tells me to just take it. Then he gives me five bucks to spend. And that's not all, even... they have fifth mix there, which is actually at a totally different arcade. Heck, the whole thing looked like the other arcade after that. Then I tried to paly 5th mix, but some guy beat me to it. I told him to pick Rage as his character and I think he did...

And now it makes NO sense. I went to play... ... a second 5th mix machine. Where the pad was like five feet away from the screen, and the screen was on a TV facing somewhat away from me. And I picked Waka Laka as my first song. The stepchart was all freakin' wrong, too, and in my dream I said someone must've loaded an edit on there. Then the arrows turned into green dotted lines. Then the screen got all white or something... I start to realize that my steps are being counted even if I get them wrong. Five seconds later, I'm kicking a giant book that turns some pages by itself and the screen is absolutely nowhere, but the song was still playing. After it ended, I have NO clue what happened... but... it was all so weird, it'll stick for a while...

I've had a recurring theme in my few dreams about DDR. I want to play Paranoia Survivor Max really bad for some reason (which I never have actually played, my local Extreme machine doesn't have any unlocks). Each time, something prevents me from playing. Once, the screen was way too far overhead, so I had to look up and hurt my neck to play. Other times my legs wouldn't move properly.

I was playing Dance Master Mode and in one mission, the steps were sped up but the music was playing at normal speed.
