So anyone know how to get the PS2 pad to work on PC? Mine keeps asking for drivers before it works, and my Super Smart Joy drivers seem to want to take over for the pad. |

PS/2 (as in keyboard) or PS2 (as in PlayStation 2)?
The PlayStation 2 (PS2) pad works for the PC right out of the box (at least for Prex 3). You should be able to plug it straight in. If you have a conflicting USB peripheral, then either unplug it or disable it. _________________

Playstation 2.
I've unplugged and disabled the device. When I plug it in it registers as Pump it Up! but when I check it in Gaming Options it doesn't show up. Going to Add/Remove Hardware it shows that it needs a driver. When I try to install a driver for it, it then tries to install a Super Smart Joy driver in it's place.
Either way it doesn't work on Prex 3 by simply plugging it in. |

What OS are you running? I dunno, I didn't have to go into gaming options when I plugged it in. I know some devices won't work unless you check gaming options, but I don't know why the opposite would happen.
Something might be wrong with the USB device drivers on your computer altogether.
There is no installation required for the Pump pad. Unfortunately, I don't remember seeing drivers anywhere on the Prex 3 CD either. _________________

Please let me know if you find the drivers.
There's some songs on Prex3 that unfortunately aren't on Exceed.
By the way this game works with HDAdvance 2.0, although it occasionally locks up when loading a song. I don't know which, if any, compatibility modes will fix it. |
