debate on central cal

To kick this off, California is a huge state. It has a huge population. There are 2 forums for northern and southern california. what about central california? i have a tournament coming up, and its in central california. I'm not asking to make a thread just for the sole purpose of my tournament. I'm asking because there will be many new tournaments, and hopefully machines. I'm thinking of opening up an arcade after college. getting a hacked ITG dedicab and maybe a late ddr machine if they get better. but ya that's all i have. yay or nay? also central cal is the best place in california to host tournaments imo

All of the other regional subforums have quite a few states. California already has 2. You guys don't need any more IMO.

I also think we here in central california should be set apart....I get frustrated when I see a hanford visalia fresno thread in northern california section. Central california is 300 miles away from socal and just about the same distance from nor cal.

Texas is a big state, too, but it's lumped in a forum with five other states. I don't think you should be complaining.

I'm not trying to be greedy. I just want everyone to understand that central california is a totally different section then nor cal and southern california....... I wish that people woukd notice that. Is there a way you guys could put up a poll or something so we can get a vote on this?

We are simply not going to do it. Everywhere is already a totally different section from everywhere else IRL. We consolidate this into the forums you see currently. Just because you (and it seems it is only you since I see no one backing up your statement) feel that your section deserves its own forum doesn't mean it warrants it. Telling us it's a "completely different" place needs more to the story. We aren't going to create a forum and only have 3 threads because that's all that is relative to the area because anything else could go into already existing forums.

Give us more of a reason, and maybe your argument will be more compelling.

To be honest I think that California could be merged into one state now that the forums aren't as active. That would be also be a solution to this problem.
