| I find that great that they found a way to put the Wii remote IN the guitar, & not connected (i.e Nunchuck or Classic Controller). Also notice the joystick on the Wiitar (haha, Wii pun) near where the strap would go... |

My question is, do they use the Wimote for more than just wireless connectivity? For example, does the game give style points.  |

wow, i hate the new guitar design. i must be the only one in the world who just LOVES the current 360 guitar style. it fits the way i hold it MUCH better than the rounded models.

Yeah, it probably activates the gauge. It's a cool idea, because it should cut down on costs for them to not have to put the sensor or wireless hardware in the controller. |

i'm going to. but the game will likely be force-bundled with the new guitar anyway (at least at first), so i'll prolly have to buy it anyway. but if i keep using the old one, then i'm forced to continue using that tether of a cord; which can get annoying. they should have just kept the same design and made it wireless.

But sadly (or actually not), they're going to the cater to the masses, and the masses have voiced their overall displeasure with the shape of the X-Plorer (especially lefties). So they're changing it.
And if Guitar Hero II on PS2 was any indication, GHIII should be available bundle-free on release day.

i'll prolly get the bundle anyway, just so i can have a second guitar for when friends are over. cuz like now, most everyone i know has the PS2 GHII, so they cant bring their guitars over and play on my 360.

Did they realize how those songs are going to be on the game? I like Dragonfroce but not that much to have it in a game. Dream Theater I want but would be hard to do as well.

| I believe they stated that the Dragonforce song is a bonus song, thank god, as it's far far harder than Jordan. Especially since they've changed HO/POs slightly |

Also, I think beating him lets you use him as a playable character, and something happens if you beat him while playing as him... I don't remember what, nor where I saw any of this, so don't count what I've said as fact; it's just what I (vaguely) remember.
