I was thinking, maybe integrated into the FAQ or something, we could have a list of threads that should not be made under any circumstances. It could take each and tell what to do instead. Some suggestions include:
What does ____ mean?
Am I the only person who thinks ______ is the easiest song in all existence?
Hey guys, I've been playing for 2 days and I AAAd LOM.
I dont like the mods at DDRFreak! I got a bunch of points! WAAH! WAAH!
Isn't [Insert song here] awesome/crappy?

Oh yeah...heh, I'm lame. But it would be nice to have topics that covered chit chat stuff too, and then maybe have a link to it in the FAQ.

I was saying much more than that, and you know it.
You know eyebrows, I've been thinking lately that maybe you don't love me any more. Silly me thinking we would last forever.
Anyway, I endorse Mr. Offires idea, as well as the other idea he had to keep a sticky of "terms to be added to the DDR dictionary" in the Site Feedback forum.

the only thing chit chat needs is a giant archway with the words "abandon all hope all ye who enter here" carved in to it

Actually, I wasn't referring to your post, I was thinking more of the kind of posts that pop up in the chit chat forum, posted by people who somehow think that they are going to start some sort of DDRFreak revolution, turning everyone against the mods.
And as for the argument that the people who would post that wouldn't read it anyway, you could say that about anything, the netiquette page, the FAQ, etc. I think its function would also just clarify what is not OK to do on the forums, so that people wouldn't reply to the bad threads, and the threads could be more easily locked with less complaining.
