i thought blur (speedy mix) was a joke file. which is why it's a 19 footer. and could someone please email me blur? bittorrent isn't workin for me

o well, if ur a member of bemanistyle just search and download MaxEternity... this one is way harder than any other, principaly a little boost near the end :S i cant complete it succfully, my legs are runnin out of energy

well except that some simfiles are designed for pad use. the simfiles I make for instance. or phrekwenci's stuff (which for the most part is pretty tricky on a pad). you can't compare the difficulty of a good pad file to a keyboard file. but you can still say which pad files are the hardest.

Hey! ^^ This is the first time ive ever posted outside of the general DDR-with-your-feet part of the forums, but Ive been playing stepmania for a while now. Besides all of the official songs (the Max's, PSMO) the only other song ive played is Paranoia -Bounce Connected Mix-. BemaniStyle looks like it has a HUGE collectian of simfiles. I saw a video of archowl doing Quasar, and I already A'd it my first try. What are some of the most well known and most challenging simfiles? A short list of some of your favorites would be much appreciated ^^ thx!

(edit) - quick question, just beacause i couldnd find any better place to ask it so I'll just tack it on to this post
what does C200 and C400 do, exactly? I seems to just adjust the arrow speed randomly on different songs

C200, C400, etc. make the song stay at a fixed bpm. For instance, C400 makes it so the song remains at 400 bpm therefor eliminating any song pauses, or bpm changes. If you played let's say PARANOiA Survivor MAX, you know that there are small portions of the song when it slows down (can sometimes be annoying), with C400, there would be no slowdowns or anything - it would remain at 400 bpm. so there you go.
