I wonder if this game will have any of the so-far US exclusives. Dunno how much of a pain it is to liscence American music over there in Japan. But it would an interesting turn of the tables for the Japanese market to get songs that so far only we have had. (Envisions Yasu or Take AAA'ing Sandstorm and I Like to Move it on sudden shuffle revers 3x first try).

Its a good thing that a new DDR game is finally coming out in Japan...but in a way I don't like how Konami is flip-floppin about stopping DDR or any other Bemani games. Hopefully this Festival version isn't just a copy of an American DDR game, but it's a good thing that Konami is trying to compete with the US market again because we can see more DDR (hopefully the JP versions will me unique and not running from the same engines as the US DDR, but instead create a new interface so that we can see something new)

It is gone. Maybe they didn't mean to announce the game at that time? Still, I think it's highly possible that the game will eventually come out.

Well, the fact that a game is coming out for the ps2 is no indication that a new mix is coming out. That said, it is possible that, if the game is still released, it could have preview songs from the next arcade installment or contain some of the new features/modes that they might put in the arcade version, assuming one were to be released. The current situation is similar to the pre-release of 6th mix. There was a delayed period between 5th and DDRMAX, and there were a number of home version exclusives that appeared on 4th mix, extra, and 5th mix home versions that all showed up on DDRMAX arcade. The same thing happened with the last few installments of CS DDR and they may just be saving a lot of KOs for the next arcade mix. Just speculation. |

Keyword: "assuming one were to be released." If a "new" DDR game is indeed coming out (i.e. Konami accidentally pulled it off their release list or whatever), it is possible that this is just Konami's last hurrah for DDR. (and they may not even bother spending money on a new machine). If it is, I hope they at least pull out all the stops and put in all the classics (and by classics, I mean the songs that, for licensing reasons and money, would probably never appear again - i.e. "petit love" and "more than i needed to know"). But probably not. |

Sweet, a mix full of underplayed and amazing songs! If only this list were true...it'd be the most popular mix ever! They would just need to add some classic songs from Club Mix like g.m.d.

With the exception of maybe "paranoia survivor max" and "Paranoia~respect", does anyone HONESTLY LIKE the Paranoia songs?! If this were truly the song list, count me out. It's way too short and, ugh, "Crash!" and "Cutie Chaser" for starters don't exactly make me wet my pants in eagerness... it's like Max1, Max2 (US/JP), and Extreme JP had a battle royale and the result isn't pretty... |

Well, you can't make a judgement on just this song list, because I'm sure you know as much as I do that this isn't ALL of the songs on Festival Collection. And you can't not like a song list just because of two songs alone. Yes, Crash! and Cutie Chaser are teh suck, but a new MAX song, and hopefully a good PARANOiA song will help the list.
